It will take place from 26th August until 2nd September, 2012.
15 artists of different nationalities, chosen by a jury of experts, will be invited.
You will receive a tree trunk (spruce/Douglas fir/maple) of between 180 cm and 240 cm in height and with a circumference of 50 to 60 cm. Upon request, the trunks can be sawn beforehand (2 halves or planks of specified dimensions). All tools and extra materials must be provided by the sculptors themselves, but for those artists travelling by bus, train or plane, chain saws will be available. A contract of work will be made with each artist. A copy of the contract is available in mid-February on the internet.
The lodge in the Hotel Kehrwieder will be borne by the organiser.
The sculptures become the property of the organiser and will be auctioned on Sunday, 2nd September on the square in front of the ”Dom” church.
