Deadline: November 25 th 2011 Artists, of any nationalitiy or residence can participate to this XIV International Sculpture Prize. Every author can introduce only one original work. The theme of the competition will be the rural depopulation. Technique and style of the works are free. The work sent to the contest will have to be a three-dimensional model and the author will have to consider that the Prize will also include its conversion to a definitive sculpture. The model won't have to be inferior to 40 cms. in any side, neither bigger of 100 in any side, neither to weigh more than 50 Kgs. The definitive work will have to have dimensions included between the 150 and 250 cms. in height and from the 100 to 150 cms. of maximum width in any side. There are no limitations of weight. The works must be realized in a resistant material that doesn't deteriorate at open air. The definitive work will be situated in collaboration with the author in a public place of the organizing city. The selected works will be exhibited by the 6th of December 2011 to the 6th of January 2012. There is only one prize of Euro 8.000 in which it will be included the conversion of the model to a definitive sculpture. The municipality will pay the expenses of adjustment of the environment, pedestal if necessary and definitive installation of the work. The winning work will remain ownership of the Town hall.
