bondi 2010 APPLICATION
Artists are invited to submit entries by 30 April, 2010 for pre-selection in the fourteenth annual Sculpture by the Sea to be staged along the coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama in Sydney, Australia from 28 October – 14 November, 2010.
Highlights:
• The Balnaves Foundation Sculpture Prize (Acquisitive) of $60,000
• Three Helen Lempriere Scholarships of $30,000 each for Australian artists
• Assistance to all artists of at least $2,000 (please see p2 for details)
• Ephemeral and Site Specific Subsidies of $4,000 for 4 artists
• An estimated 400,000 visitors across 3 weeks
• High level sculpture sales over the past 7 years
• An international sculpture conference
• The Clitheroe Foundation Mentor Program
• 100 sculptures by Australian and overseas artists
