Kunst en natuurwandeling Grens<>Land
Na een Oude legende (2005), Verstild water (2006), Groene revolutie (2007), Kunstige archeologie (2008) OverLeven (2009) is het thema voor 2010 Grens<>Land. Schoonoord was in het verleden een nauwelijks bewoond gebied waarin zich in korte tijd mensen met geheel andere achtergronden vestigden. Bij dit proces werden zowel de sociale grenzen als de materiële grenzen afgetast. Dit gegeven vormt de inspiratiebron voor ruimtelijke installaties en structuren die de condities ter plaatse (openbaar toegankelijk bos, invloeden van de natuur) minimaal zeven maanden kunnen weerstaan. Art and Nature walk Border<>Land
After 'Art and nature walk The Legend'- 2005, 'Art and nature walk Still Water' – 2006, ‘Art and nature walk Green Revolution’- 2007, ‘Art and nature walk Arti Archaeology – 2008’, ‘Art and Nature walk SurVive – 2009’ a new event in 2010 Border<>Land. Artists are inspired by the idea of people coming from many different places to settle and work in a new environment. At Schoonoord this was happening in the years around 1850 when the peatlands were cultivated. Not far from this place the countryside is sandy and there the first settlers were farmers which were living already there for hundreds of years. What borders are crossed, what land is cultivated, what was the influence on the different cultures in this borderland. Conditions for all proposals are that it are spatial installations or structures which are able to survive the conditions on the site (forest, weather) for at least seven months.
