The association "La Turbine"'s aim is, to highlight the cultural, economic and touristic aspects of the mill "sur Perley" in Sampigny les Maranges. Deadline: December,31, 2012
Artist-in-residence: Sampigny-lès-Maranges (Burgundy) / France
In one part of the mill is the artist's studio available for all artists. The studio consists of several areas:
- A studio (50 sqm)
- An apartment (50 sqm) with a gallery / mezzanine (25 m²)
- An exhibition space
The studio is empty, but it has electricity and water. There is a wood stove and internet. It is also possible to work outside. The artist can of course get exhibition material. With these conditions there can also be organized courses or events, or/and it is possible to sell their own works. The selection committee chooses artists on the basis of the application documents that are available to download on the website of "La turbine" (www.laturbine.fr). The residence time is determined in consultation with the artists. Rent: 400 €, including additional costs except the exhibition space.
